Terms of Service

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Edyssey AI mobile application (the "App") operated by ReactLab OÜ, registry code 17276611 ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the App is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Edyssey AI is a client-server mobile application designed for language learning on Android and iOS platforms. It utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to generate personalized language courses based on the Michel Thomas method, allowing users to select their proficiency level and provide specific learning interests. The App includes structured learning blocks (reading, writing, listening, speaking), progress tracking, feedback mechanisms, and an AI chat assistant for user queries and clarifications.
2. User Accounts
Account Creation: To access certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep it accurate and current.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use.
Age Restriction: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
3. Use of the App
Permitted Use: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Prohibited Use: You agree not to violate applicable laws; exploit or harm minors; send spam; impersonate any person; damage the App; introduce malicious software; attempt unauthorized access; reverse engineer any part of the App; or use automated means to monitor or copy content.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Edyssey and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
User-Generated Content: You retain all rights in content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Edyssey a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use such content in connection with operating and improving the App and its AI models.
5. AI Functionality and Limitations
AI-Generated Content: Edyssey AI uses AI to generate learning materials and responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate. Reliance on AI content is at your own risk.
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content. Sensitive personal information should not be shared within AI chat features.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription Model: Full access is provided on a subscription basis. Billing occurs in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through your app store account.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Fee Changes: Subscription fees may be changed at Edyssey's discretion with advance notice.
Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as outlined in the policies of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. All refunds are processed solely through the respective app store platforms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will achieve a specific level of language proficiency. Edyssey and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by Estonian law. Disputes shall first be resolved through amicable negotiations. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia in Tallinn.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days prior to taking effect. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

End-User License Agreement (EULA)
Effective Date: July 31, 2025
This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and ReactLab OÜ, registry code 17276611, governing your use of the Edyssey AI mobile application ("App").
1. License Grant
Edyssey grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.
2. Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App; use the App for unlawful purposes; circumvent security measures; or rent, lease, or sublicense the App to third parties.
3. Ownership
The App and its content are owned by Edyssey and protected by intellectual property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
4. Updates and Modifications
Edyssey may update the App to improve functionality. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
5. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete the App.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.
7. Limitation of Liability
Edyssey shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
8. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.
